Job summary

Avalon Services Group is seeking a Forklift Driver in Ladson, SC to operate a forklift, load and unload trucks, and transport materials to storage areas. You will also stack and organize inventory to maximize space and use scanners to track movement.

Responsibilities include routine forklift inspections, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and adhering to safety guidelines while supporting the supervisor and plant manager with assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
• Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.

Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $18.00

Work Hours:Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm- 10:00 pm

What You'll Do

• Operate a forklift to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.

What You Need to Qualify

• Previous experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse environment.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.

What Physical Activities Will You Do?

• Constant standing, walking, and sitting while operating a forklift (100% of the time).
• Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling (70% of the time).
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull over 50 lbs. regularly.
