TMI Climate Solutions LLC in Mesquite, Texas is seeking a Forklift Operator to support site operations and material handling. You will safely move components and materials using a forklift and related equipment, while maintaining clean work areas and accurate inventory.

The role requires a High School Diploma and forklift license; experience in manufacturing and HVAC is a plus. You will work in a team, follow safety protocols, and contribute to on-time production and shipping.

Formación

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Forklift license required; overhead crane certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment; HVAC experience is an asset.
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken.

  • Safely carry out and transport components and materials using a forklift and related equipment.
  • Inspect components and materials received and ensure correct handling per documents.
  • Maintain clean and organized reception and storage areas.
  • Bundle, wrap, and prepare materials for shipment.
  • Support inventory counts and provide input on non-conformances.

As we launch our new facility in Mesquite, Texas, we are looking for talented individuals to support our operations and contribute to the site’s success. To support this growth, we are seeking a Forklift Operator to play a key role in material handling and logistics. The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe handling of small to large components and materials (including sheet metal and structural parts) using a forklift.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Safely carry out and transport components and materials to the various required departments using a forklift (6,500 lb propane), an overhead crane, a pallet jack, or a hand truck.
  • Inspect the components & materials received using the plans, BOM, MOC, receipt slip and other relevant documents.
  • Identify the components & materials received.
  • Keep the Reception area safe and clean (cutting and dismantling wooden pallets, preparation for recycling, etc.).
  • Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift and handle equipment and materials.
  • Bundle, wrap or band material for shipment.
  • Communicate with supply and quality any non-compliant delivery and participate in the development of the non-compliance report (quarantine area).
  • Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure accurate inventory.
  • Participate to inventory/material counts.
  • Participate when required in the loading of units.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

The incumbent loads, unloads, transports, and stores materials using a forklift, overhead crane, pallet jack, or hand truck, while ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in HVAC is an asset.
  • Computer Skills: ERP system and Microsoft office experience (an asset).
  • Certificates & Licenses: Forklift license required; overhead crane certification is an asset.
  • Strong sense of time management, organization, and urgency.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform tasks with precision, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a steady pace while consistently delivering high-quality work.
  • Proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrate versatility, autonomy, and accountability.
  • Commit to continuous learning and skill development.
  • Share knowledge and expertise to support team performance.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
