Job summary

TMI Climate Solutions LLC is launching a Mesquite, Texas facility and is seeking a Forklift Operator to support material handling and logistics. You will operate a 6,500 lb propane forklift, conduct inspections, and help manage inventory and shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include moving components with various equipment, ensuring safety, and collaborating with teams to resolve issues and maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift license required; overhead crane certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely carry out and transport components and materials using a forklift.
• Inspect components and materials received using relevant documents.
• Identify and label components and materials.
• Maintain a clean reception area and prepare for recycling.
• Attach slings or hooks to lift equipment and materials.
• Bundle, wrap or band materials for shipment.
• Communicate with supply and quality on non-conformances.
• Maintain equipment storage areas and participate in inventory counts.
• Assist with loading of units as needed.

We’re committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’s empowered to be their best.As we launch our new facility in Mesquite, Texas, we are looking for talented individuals to support our operations and contribute to the site’s success.To support this growth, we are seeking a Forklift Operator to play a key role in material handling and logistics.The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe handling of small to large components and materials (including sheet metal and structural parts) using a forklift. The incumbent loads, unloads, transports, and stores materials using a forklift, overhead crane, pallet jack, or hand truck, while ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times.Roles and ResponsibilitiesSafely carry out and transport components and materials to the various required departments using a forklift (6,500 lb propane), an overhead crane, a pallet jack, or a hand truck.Inspect the components & materials received using the plans, BOM, MOC, receipt slip and other relevant documentsIdentify the components & materials receivedKeep the Reception area safe and clean (cutting and dismantling wooden pallets, preparation for recycling, etc.)Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift and handle equipment and materialsBundle, wrap or band material for shipmentCommunicate with supply and quality any non-compliant delivery and participate in the development of the non-compliance report (quarantine area)Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure accurate inventoryParticipate to inventory/material countsParticipate when required in the loading of unitsOther responsibilities as assignedQualificationsEducation: High School DiplomaExperience: Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
