Job description

Position Title: Forklift Operator

Wage: $17-$18.50/hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday + OT, 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday + OT

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Forklift Operator for a company in Menomonee Falls, WI. This is an entry-level role.

Forklift Operator Warehouse Administrator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Obtain customer orders from the office for daily job duties.
2. Select and pick materials according to order sheets that identify item number, description, quantity ordered, and location in the warehouse.
3. Use a handheld scanner to scan, pack, and record all materials to ensure proper order picking and accurate inventory management.
4. Load and unload materials using a pallet jack, push carts, and other equipment as needed.
5. Lift and move packages to the table for order auditing and verify if items pulled out of packages are correct.
6. Scan, label parts, and pack orders.
7. Use picking equipment once trained and certified (PITs, carts, label makers, forklifts).
8. Adhere to cleaning schedules and maintain the working station.

Forklift Operator Warehouse Administrator Requirements:

1. High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
2. Experience in distribution/warehouse environment (preferred but not required).
3. Prior knowledge and use of a WMS preferred.
4. Ability and willingness to obtain PIT certifications.
5. Ability to read and write English.
6. Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, ladders, and operate equipment; good balance for working at heights.
7. Capability to lift/push equipment, tools, and products.
8. Able to lift 35 pounds consistently and 50 pounds intermittently.
