Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a reliable Sit-Down Forklift Operator in Kent, WA for a temp-to-hire role. Shifts are Monday–Friday, with start times at 6:00 AM or 8:00 AM, 40 hours per week, and overtime as needed. Pay is $23.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sit-down forklift experience required.
• Experience with freight loading/unloading preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and shipping manifests.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear and legible handwriting skills.
• Ability to perform physical work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift (Toyota/Mitsubishi) safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload freight directly from delivery docks.
• Scan incoming and outgoing shipments using RF scanners.
• Read and interpret billing manifests and shipping documents.
• Accurately record product weights, measurements, and other details by hand.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including physical material handling.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Kent, WA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for permanent placement after 3 months for strong performers if you have forklift experience and enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
