Job summary

Clarios is hiring a Forklift Operator for the Toledo, OH plant. You will operate sit-down forklifts to move batteries and materials, load/unload, and support production with timely materials and accurate inventory records.

The role requires 12-hour shifts, willingness to overtime, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Clarios offers comprehensive benefits and a path for career growth at a large, sustainable battery manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years forklift experience in manufacturing, shipping, or distribution.
• Able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Comfortable with 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down) safely to move, load, and unload batteries and materials.
• Supply production lines with required materials and remove scrap as needed.
• Perform cycle counts, verify material accuracy, and track inventory in warehouse systems.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming and outgoing shipments; report discrepancies.
• Support shipping operations including palletizing and staging loads for transport.
• Maintain warehouse organization and safe traffic flow in storage and loading areas.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

• Starting at $20.33/hour; $22.96 after completing training and securing permanent bid
• Weekly pay
• Annual wage progression increases

Sign on Bonus

$2,000- $1,000 after successful completion of the 120-day probationary period and $1,000 at 6 months.

Shifts Available

• 2nd: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Shift Differential

• 8-hour shifts: 2nd shift +$1.00/hr.; 3rd shift +$1.25/hr.
