Kelly, partnering with John Deere in Greeneville, TN, is seeking a Forklift Operator. The role offers weekly pay up to $21.85/hr with a production bonus and overtime potential.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd with possible Saturdays, and opportunities for temp-to-perm growth within a manufacturing team. Responsibilities include operating multiple forklifts, basic assembly, quality checks, inventory upkeep, and maintaining safety per 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum forklift experience within the last 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass eye exam and forklift driving test.
• Demonstrated dependability and good attendance.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, tractor, gator, or tugger to move parts.
• Use hand/power tools to assemble parts as needed.
• Perform quality checks with gauges or visual inspection.
• Maintain inventory and work well in a team.
• Follow safety practices and 5S standards.

Pay: Weekly pay potential up to $21.85 per hour (with production bonus)

1st Shift:8 or 9 hour shifts, Start times between 6:00am and 6:15am, Monday – Friday with overtime potential on Saturdays.

2nd Shift: 8 or 9 hour shifts, Start time around 4:00pm, Monday – Friday with potential overtime on Saturdays. Standing up to 10 hours per shift, seasonal schedules, with potential overtime or weekends.

What’s a typical day as Forklift Operator? You’ll be:

• Operating a forklift, tractor, gator, or tugger to deliver, pick up, load, unload, move, and/or sort parts
  
• Using hand or power tools to assemble parts as needed
  
• Performing quality checks visually or with gauges and measuring devices
  
• Maintaining inventory status and contributing in a team environment
  
• Following safety practices and maintaining equipment and facilities in line with 5S processes

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 6 months of recent forklift experience (within the last 12 months)
  
• Hold a valid driver’s license
  
• Can pass a eye exam and forklift driving test
  
• Demonstrate a strong sense of dependability and consistent attendance
  
• Preferably have manufacturing experience and a high school diploma
  
• Have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  
• Are at least 18 years of age and can pass a dexterity test
  
• Can meet the physical requirements: repetitive bending, twisting, squatting, lifting up to 35 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 50+ lbs., standing up to 10 hours per shift, and working at heights up to 90 inches
