Job summary

BWT Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in Fort Wayne, IN. You will safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials, contributing to productivity while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials within the warehouse.

• Perform routine inspections and report equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders or delivery documents; report discrepancies.
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks; secure materials properly.
• Use forklift attachments when required for specific materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and storage areas.
• Update inventory records and follow inventory control procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and support timely deliveries.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Position Summary

As a Forklift Operator at BWT Logistics, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our warehouse. Your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate a sit-down forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials, products, and equipment. You'll support overall warehouse productivity and accuracy while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials within the warehouse.
• Safely maneuver forklifts in narrow aisles and congested areas while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30/4:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
• 2nd Shift: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

PPE Requirements

• Steel-toe boots required. Additional necessary PPE will be provided by the company.
