Job summary

Dairy Challenge in Dallas, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate forklifts and other industrial trucks, moving products within a dairy facility and loading or unloading trailers.

You will stage materials, maintain FIFO inventory, complete paperwork accurately, follow GMPs and safety rules, and work in a fast-paced team. A high school diploma and basic math, English literacy, and reliable teamwork are required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

Job description

Operate gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices, such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel 'hook fork' grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in a warehouse, storage yard, or facility.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute the loading and unloading of products in trailers
• Distribute pallets of product from the palletizer to distribution trailers and staging areas
• Stage materials for production
• Move product and materials within facility (plant and/or cooler)
• Receive materials for warehouse storage
• Supply packaging material, cartons, and hulls to line as needed
• Maintain pallet supply for palletizer
• Rotate packaging and ingredients using FIFO (First In – First Out)
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format, and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
