Job summary

ManpowerGroup’s client in Wisconsin is seeking a Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Associate in Cudahy. Shift is first (8am–5pm); pay is $24/hr. Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, loading/unloading, and maintaining logs and inventories.

The role requires 2+ years of forklift experience (sit-down), safe operation of warehouse equipment, and the ability to lift 60–80 pounds. Experience in distribution or freight forwarding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience (sit-down forklift required).
• Ability to operate hand jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods and lift 60-80 pounds.
• Experience in warehouse distribution or freight forwarding industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and segregate incoming shipments for warehouse/distribution facilities.
• Load and unload shipments onto or off pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Sort and process outgoing shipments according to established procedures and regulations.
• Load shipments into vehicles and secure with strapping, bracing, and padding using hand tools.
• Prepare and update information in computerized systems such as logs, packing lists, pick tickets, and inventories.
