ELS is hiring for the position of Marine Forklift Driver at Cortez Village Marina in Cortez, Florida.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate 25,000 lb and larger lift trucks to launch, retrieve, and store boats up to 40' in length.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers daily.
• Work safely in a high-paced, customer-oriented environment.
• Fuel and move customer boats around the marina safely.
• Perform safety training, inspect machinery, and perform maintenance.
• Maintain records of boat movements and activity logs.
• Follow company policies and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with dock staff to maintain marina aesthetics.

Experience & Skills Needed:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial vehicles, especially forklifts.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance.
• OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Attention to detail, physical fitness, good coordination.
• Ability to judge weights, distances, and heights.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
