Position Summary

As a Forklift Operator at BWT Logistics, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our Tampa warehouse. You will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to safely transport, load, unload, and stage materials. You’ll work closely with the warehouse team to support accurate and efficient movement of goods while maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-compliant environment. This role requires a strong commitment to BWT’s expectations around reliability, professional conduct, and a drug-free work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack products and materials
• Safely maneuver equipment through tight and high-traffic areas
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues
• Verify product accuracy against shipping and receiving documents
• Unload and load trucks and stage items for processing or storage
• Transport materials throughout the facility and assist with general warehouse operations
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow
  
  

Schedule

• Days: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  
  

Qualifications

• Forklift Operator Certification (required)
• Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience
• Strong technical and mechanical skills
• Excellent communication and sound judgment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

Pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience
