Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Forklift Operators in Columbia, South Carolina.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $16.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour shift pay
• Weekend Pay: $4.00 per hour for Saturday/Sunday
• Rotating Schedule: 6:00pm - 6:00am (2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to work in a diverse environment
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels
• Dependable and thorough
• Punctual with good attendance
• Ability to perform work independently with initiative
• Accurate under pressure
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs

Responsibilities

• Loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, loading/unloading
• Handle warehouse paperwork
• Support automated packing systems during production
• Perform other duties as assigned
