Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Pay: $17/hr.

1st Shift - Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Our client is seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join their team. This role involves working on the warehouse floor, processing orders by picking and filling containers. The operator will handle shipments, maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, and support inventory management.

The ideal candidate has experience working in cold environments, utilizing a stand-up forklift and pallet jack. Must be able to work safely and efficiently, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders.

Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management: Picking and packing products, maintaining inventory records, restocking supplies, reporting defective products, and processing invoices with proper documentation.
2. Safety and Housekeeping: Ensuring a safe work environment, maintaining organized workstations, reporting concerns, completing safety training, and assisting with shipping and receiving issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with inventory control systems (preferred)
• Knowledge of warehouse paperwork and inventory counting (preferred)
• Familiarity with cold storage environments
• Experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift
• Ability to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift, and carry items
