Forklift Operator

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina 28216

Shift Timings: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday – Friday

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr - $20.50/hr

Must Have

• Forklift Certification
• Experience in Forklift operation, Shipping and Receiving, and General Labor

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from the production line accurately.
• Ensure lines are stocked with the required products according to the production schedule.
• Perform safety inspections on forklifts regularly.
• Verify orders and components for accuracy.
• Wrap skids securely.
• Operate forklifts, power pallet jacks, or manual carts to unload, move, or store materials.
• Follow work instructions carefully and pay attention to details.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE procedures; report violations promptly.
• Achieve daily production targets and maintain output quality.
• Maintain quality standards for the line.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and environmental health and safety regulations.
• Keep the work environment safe and clean, complying with 5S principles and other regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and write in English.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
• Experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Strong communication skills.
