Forklift Operators Needed ASAP!

Remedy is pleased to partner with some of the finest companies in the Corridor.

Our client is an internationally known logistics company in need of forklift operators on 1st shift

They have a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude, proven attendance track record, and who want to excel in a warehouse environment in a forklift position.

It is a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate!

Shift/Hours: 1st shift. Monday – Friday, 7AM – 3:30PM + Occasional OT

Pay: $19/hour

Major Responsibilities:

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading including matching alpha/numeric coding.
• Open and close dock door, load and unload trailers.
• Move materials within the warehouse, package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling), and handle disposition of damaged product.
• Use computer and handheld scanners to manage inventory in the warehouse management system and complete daily logs.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Must be able to follow all safety rules, work in a safe manner and report any problems for management to address.

Skills:

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions including reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders.
• Excellent attendance is a MUST!
• Previous experience in crating and boxing product for shipment.
• Fork truck experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be able to stand, sit, reach, grasp, turn, bend, and twist body to reach product and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
