Job description

Job Summary

Forklift operators will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, delivering pallets to work stations, and moving pallets around the warehouse. Accurate counts and records must be kept of loads, unloads, and pallets delivered to workstations.

• Stack and organize pallets, keeping stacks straight and at a uniform height.
• Unload trucks, maintaining an accurate count of PECO pallets and other pallets being unloaded.
• Load trucks using proper loading patterns, ensuring the correct quantity of pallets is loaded and following any special instructions.
• Feed pallets in stacks of nine to repair operators on rollers, keeping an accurate count of pallets given to each operator.
• Report any contamination or potential food safety issues for customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Learn, understand, and adhere to all PECO safety policies and procedures for the depot and your role.

Education, Skills, and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior forklift experience
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of safe forklift operation
