Job summary

Ecore-International in Texas is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for our rubber recycling facility. Schedule: 1st shift, Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Pay range is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, with a stable schedule and competitive benefits. You will safely operate sit-down forklifts, load/unload trucks, move materials, perform inspections, maintain inventory, and support warehouse and production tasks while following all safety procedures to keep the plant

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required or preferred.
• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating sit-down forklifts to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately
• Transporting materials to production and warehouse areas as needed
• Performing routine forklift inspections and reporting any equipment issues
• Maintaining inventory organization and proper material storage practices
• Assisting with general warehouse and production support tasks
• Following all company safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment

What We're Looking For:

• R High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1-2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Previous sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to safely handle and transport heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

This role operates in a high-heat, dusty, and noisy manufacturing setting. Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment. Expect prolonged standing, repetitive movements, and lifting up to 55 lbs. PPE provided.
