Job summary

Ecore International in Texas is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for our rubber recycling facility. The role involves safely operating sit-down forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and moving materials across production and warehouse areas during a first shift schedule, Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Candidates should have 1–2 years forklift experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately.
• Transport materials to production and warehouse areas as needed.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report issues.
• Maintain inventory organization and proper material storage.
• Assist with general warehouse and production support tasks.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do:

• Safely operating sit-down forklifts to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately
• Transporting materials to production and warehouse areas as needed
• Performing routine forklift inspections and reporting any equipment issues
• Maintaining inventory organization and proper material storage practices
• Assisting with general warehouse and production support tasks
• Following all company's safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1-2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Previous sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to safely handle and transport heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

This role operates in a high-heat, dusty, and noisy manufacturing setting. Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment. Expect prolonged standing, repetitive movements, and lifting up to 55 lbs. PPE provided.
