Position Summary

Load and unload trucks; put away and rotate stock; handle transfers; stock production prep areas; perform cycle counts for inventory control; maintain warehouse.

Primary Responsibilities

Receiving of Goods

• Receive raw materials
• Unload finished products from the manufacturing plant and rotate according to proper procedures

Shipping and Loading of Goods

• Pull customer orders with 100% accuracy and ensure on-time delivery
• Loan outgoing orders
• Ensure all loads are secure prior to leaving the warehouse

Transfer of Goods

• Transfer raw materials between warehouses as necessary
• Stock palletizer and remove finished goods for transfer

Inventory Duties

• Perform cycle counts
• Maintain proper paperwork

Stocking of Goods

• Stock label room with boxes
• Stock production prep areas with raw materials as needed (e.g., frozen products from trailers and freezers, produce from coolers, and raw materials from south warehouse)

Production Duties

• Stock the production prep areas with raw materials as needed
• Assist in production as needed

Requirements

• Must be in good physical shape with high stamina and dexterity
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to climb various types of ladders
• Good hand dexterity with both hands
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Work long hours and overtime when necessary
• Able to withstand extreme warehouse and outdoor temperatures (cold and hot)
