Description

Position Summary

Load and unload trucks; put away and rotate stock; Handle transfers; stock production prep areas; cycle counts for inventory control; maintain warehouse.

Primary Responsibilities

RECEIVING OF GOODS:

• Receive raw material
• Unload finished product from the manufacturing plant and rotate the product according to the proper procedures

SHIPPING AND LOADING OF GOODS:

• Pull customer orders with 100% accuracy and on time delivery
• Loan out-going orders
• Assure all loads are secure prior to their leaving warehouse

TRANSFER OF GOODS:

• Transfer raw material as necessary between warehouses
• Stock palletizer and remove finished goods for transfer

INVENTORY DUTIES:

• Cycle counts
• Maintain proper paperwork

STOCKING OF GOODS:

• Stock label room with boxes
• Stock production prep areas with raw materials as needed --- (get frozen products from trailers and freezer; produce rom cooler and other raw material from south warehouse)

PRODUCTION DUTIES:

• Stock the production prep areas with raw materials as needed. (Frozen items from trailers and freezer, produce from cooler and other raw material from south warehouse.)
• Assist in Production as needed

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be in good physical shape with high stamina and dexterity
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to climb various types of ladders
• Good hand dexterity with both hands
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work long hours when necessary; work overtime when it is needed
• Able to withstand extreme warehouse and outside temperatures of cold and hot
