Description

McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring for a 1st Shift Forklift Operator in Bernhards Bay, NY!

We are looking for a technically skilled and experienced individual with excellent attention to detail to join our team in Bernhards Bay, NY as a Forklift Operator.

Pay: $16 plus incentive

Shift: Monday to Friday 5:45am to 2:30pm

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving materials by operating a forklift safely and efficiently, ensuring materials and products are correctly positioned to maximize productivity. The role requires a hardworking team player with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading materials
• Proper inventory placement
• Maintaining inventory and activity logs
• Transporting materials within the facility
• Securing loads and inspecting equipment for damages
• Following operational instructions and safety guidelines
• Managing technical equipment and exchanging propane tanks
• Restacking lumber and assisting team members as needed
• Participating in special projects and maintaining a safe environment
