Job summary

Skilled Manufacturing & Distribution in Bellingham, MA is seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production material flow. You will safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks, load/unload trailers, and ensure accurate inventory transactions to keep operations moving.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience; SAP knowledge is a plus. This 2nd shift role pays about $21.50 per hour and requires availability for weekends and overtime to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks required; certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management or ERP systems SAP experience a plus
• Knowledge of food safety and GMP requirements preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment to move raw materials, packaging, and finished product.
• Supply production and packaging lines with the materials needed to support continuous operation.
• Load and unload trailers, verifying counts and ensuring proper documentation is completed.
• Perform physical movement and accurate system transactions for all materials, including scanning, labeling, and inventory tracking.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, contamination, or incorrect labeling, and report issues immediately.

Our client, Skilled Manufacturing & Distribution is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the DSD department supporting warehouse and production material flow. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the drive to keep operations moving—so every shift runs smoothly and food-quality standards are met.

Location: Bellingham, MA

Pay Range: $21.50

Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
