Alliance Ground International is seeking a Forklift Mechanic in Chicago, IL to maintain and repair sit-down forklifts and manage parts inventory. You will read work orders and manuals, ensure all safety rules are followed, and complete accurate paperwork with required information.
Applicants must pass airport badge and drug screen processes and have a valid US driver’s license. Flexible scheduling is required as aviation operations run 24/7, with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The work of a Forklift Mechanic includes but are not limited to maintaining and repairing sit down Forklifts. Maintain parts inventory and repair records for all equipment by completing accurate paperwork. Must be able to work safely, utilizing proper protective equipment always and understand the concept of LOTO (Lockout / Tagout). Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information. Read and interpret work orders, safety rules, mechanical and electrical drawings, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
$27/hr.-$28/hr.
