Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Auburn, Indiana is seeking a full-time hourly forklift associate for our Operations team. You will move materials inside and outside the plant, and perform outside forklift tasks while ensuring parts and containers are placed at stations as required.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and proper PPE use, with overtime available on a daily and weekend basis. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in a production/manufacturing setting preferred; training and certifications provided.
• Ability to perform hourly/daily paperwork as required.
• Commitment to safety and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Move materials inside and outside of the plant as required.
• Role will include driving a forklift outside throughout the year.
• Ensure parts and containers are placed at work stations as required.
• Empty trash for appropriate disposal.
• Contribute in efforts to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Monitor and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Process hourly/daily paperwork as required.
• Check fluid levels, change LP tanks using proper PPE and charge truck batteries based on policy.
