Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a dependable forklift operator at the Auburn, Indiana plant. This full-time hourly role supports our Operations team with material movement, equipment checks, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will gain hands-on training, on-site PPE usage, and opportunities for overtime; we value reliability, safety, and teamwork as we continue our production goals.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in a production/manufacturing setting is preferred, with training and certifications provided.

Responsibilities

• Move materials inside and outside of the plant as required
• Role will include driving a forklift outside throughout the year
• Ensure parts and containers are placed at work stations as required
• Empty trash for appropriate disposal
• Contribute in efforts to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Monitor and contribute to continuous improvement
• Process hourly/daily paperwork as required
• Check fluid levels, change LP tanks using proper PPE and charge truck batteries based on policy

This full-time, hourly, role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Production Supervisor.

We have some daily and weekend overtime.

Required experience:

• Forklift Experience in a production/manufacturing setting is preferred but we encourage those with some forklift experience to apply as we will provide all the necessary training and certifications!
