Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking a Material Handler to maintain a safe, efficient operation in the plant and warehouse. You will load/unload materials, stock raw materials for production, and ensure accurate paperwork to prevent shipment delays.

The role requires forklift certification, a valid driver's license, and 1–3 years in manufacturing/warehouse settings. SAP experience is a plus and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Some post-secondary education preferred (i.e. technical or vocational education).
• Forklift certification.
• At least 1 to 3 years of previous work experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required
• SAP experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Coordinate workflow with other material handlers.
• Operate a lift truck for up to a 12-hour period.
• Supply Production Department with raw materials as needed.
• Remove finished goods and store in proper warehouse location.
• Tag finished product and manage materials.
