Job summary

Amcor Itasca is seeking a Material Handler to maintain safe, quality operations while loading, unloading, and moving raw materials throughout the plant and warehouse. You will coordinate with teammates and provide materials to production, ensuring pallets are properly labeled and stored.

The role requires forklift certification, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and 1–3 years in a manufacturing/warehouse setting, with SAP and a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Some post-secondary education preferred (technical or vocational).
• Forklift certification is required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and SAP experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, quality operation with loading/unloading of raw materials in plant and warehouse.
• Operate a lift truck safely for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
• Coordinate workflow with other material handlers and supply production with materials.
• Tag finished products and store correctly in warehouse locations.
