Job summary

Amcor LLC in Woodstock, IL is seeking a Materials Handler to support safe, efficient warehouse operations. You will handle daily material movements, operate a forklift, and ensure accuracy in packing lists and inventory transactions.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in ISO/GMP programs, maintain clean work areas, and assist other handlers as needed to meet production requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Reading Standard English text for packlists.
• Able to perform multiple tasks with organized workflow.
• Ability to stand/walk for 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• Capacity to lift/move up to 35 lbs.
• Familiar with basic safety and quality programs (ISO, GMP).
• Proficient use of a radio/paging system to contact teammates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of self and coworkers and environment.
• Identify and report safety concerns and quality issues.
• Support zero waste and recycling efforts.
• Maintain quality of processes and products; meet customer requirements.
• Follow ISO, GMP, and Food Safety SOPs and keep area clean.
• Assist in material handling tasks and maintenance of silos/balers.
• Report damages or unsafe conditions; assist Warehouse Manager.
