Job summary

Amcor is seeking a forklift operator to move and stage work in process, finished goods, and raw materials across shipping, receiving, and printing/converting areas. The role includes handling scrap, operating a forklift safely, and completing required paperwork with attention to safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and forklift experience, with strong reading and writing skills in English and the ability to read a tape measure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Ability to read and understand a measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage work in process, completed product, and raw material within the shipping/receiving, printing and converting departments.
• Move, process, and dispose of scrap; operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Perform required paperwork and inform supervisor of maintenance, quality, safety, or production issues.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean work environment; communicate effectively with coworkers.
