Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Material Handling Associate in Beaverton, OR to support warehouse and production activities, including moving materials, stocking machine centers, loading and unloading deliveries, and documenting material details.

This full-time, hourly role requires forklift experience or certification, the ability to read instructions, and the initiative to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).
• Able to read and follow instructions and perform basic math.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts with attachments.
• Move and stage materials to keep machine centers stocked and workflow.
• Load and unload deliveries per established procedures.
• Verify material details, such as quantity, size, and packaging.
• Accurately completing documentation for internal and external use.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized.
• Work independently and take initiative to resolve routine problems.
• Assist Finishing Inspector/Stackers by stacking, packaging, and handling finished goods as needed.
