Job summary

Wastequip is seeking a Material Handler to support our Albany, OR manufacturing operation. You will operate a forklift to move raw materials, parts, and finished goods throughout the plant and support multiple departments.

This full-time on-site role requires attention to safety, basic math for stock and records, and a commitment to 5S and organized work areas. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience in a production environment.
• Forklift certification required.
• Detail-oriented and careful.
• Ability to organize material on racks, production floor and staging areas.
• Basic math and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and stock incoming raw materials.
• Supply production with materials and parts as required to meet production demands.
• Transfer finished goods to holding and/or loading areas.
• Perform safety inspections and basic maintenance to keep tools safe and usable.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear required PPE at all times.
• Ensure compliance with 5S standards.
