Amerhart, Ltd. in Edwardsville, IL is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving and stocking of warehouse material. The role operates on 1st shift and offers $22/hour with full benefits.

As a member of the Operations team, you will unload trucks, use a forklift to pick orders, utilize a handheld scanner, and ensure accurate data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience, including FLAT BED loading/unloading.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and replenish warehouse locations.
• Pick orders with a forklift; report shortages or damages.
• Use handheld scanner for receiving, picking, loading, and cycle counting per WMS.
• Collaborate with WMS Coordinator on questions and updates.
• Band, wrap and prepare material for shipping.
• Arrange orders on trucks with safe weight distribution.
• Follow safety procedures and policies in warehouse duties.
• Fill orders for incoming customers.
• Perform routine maintenance like cleaning warehouses/yard.
• Inspect forklift daily per OSHA.
• Cross-train and back-up others in warehouse.
