Typical Day for a Material Handler at KTP

1. Operate a sit-down electric forklift safely
2. Supply production lines with raw materials to meet demand
3. Complete lot tracking for incoming raw materials and packaging components
4. Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
5. Pick and stage finished goods proactively
6. Properly mark raw materials
7. Remove waste from production lines
8. Utilize RF scan guns for scanning and barcoding into the aScan system
9. Process paperwork accurately and promptly

Essential Functions

• Operate a sit-down electric forklift safely; forklift certification required on first day
• Operate additional equipment such as hand jacks, drum dollies, clamp trucks, scissors lifts, powered hoists, floor scrubbers, safety cages; training provided if needed

Requirements

• Availability for in-person/on-site interview
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
• Ability to read pick-lists and use electronic inventory systems
• Effective communication skills and ability to understand instructions
• Quick learner, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
