Job summary

Sika is seeking a dynamic Forklift Material Handler to join the Building and Finishing Haines City Team. This role coordinates warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will work under the Warehouse Supervisor to move materials, verify inventory, and support shipping operations. Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in manufacturing or distribution with clerical duties and at least 1 year of forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–5 years of experience in manufacturing or distribution with clerical responsibilities.
• Minimum of 1 year forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload trucks, transport materials between departments and buildings, and consolidate inventory.
• Perform shipping and receiving to achieve on-time shipping goals, including pulling finished product and preparing shipments.
• Verify inbound/outbound materials against bills of lading and shipping documents; report discrepancies, shortages, and damaged goods.
• Count and examine raw materials, supplies, and finished products; conduct cycle counts as required.
• Maintain clean work location and participate in Sika Safe; adhere to safety standards.
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and shipping team with warehouse management, scanning, inventory verifications, and other duties.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Forklift Material Handler to join our Building and Finishing Haines City Team. This role coordinates warehouse activities including shipping and receiving while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. Work is performed under the general direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks, transport materials between departments and buildings, and consolidate inventory in appropriate storage locations.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities to achieve On-Time-Shipping goals, including pulling finished product from inventory, assembling orders, and preparing shipments in accordance with company policy and customer requests.
• Verify inbound and outbound materials against bills of lading and shipping documents; identify and report discrepancies, shortages, and damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Count and examine raw materials, supplies, and finished products to maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts as required.
• Maintain work location in excellent condition to comply with company safety and housekeeping policies; participate in Sika Safe program and adhere to all safety standards.
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and shipping team with warehouse management, scanning, inventory verifications, and other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED certificate.
• 4-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment with clerical responsibilities.
• Minimum of one year of experience in forklift operation.
