Job summary

Aerotek in Lenexa, KS seeks an experienced Material Handler to safely move and store materials within a manufacturing warehouse. You will operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts, aid packaging and shipping, and maintain accurate inventory records using a computerized system.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, material handling, and collaboration with warehouse, production, and inventory teams to ensure efficient workflow. Safety PPE is required, with a 3–11 PM Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in warehouse or production environment.
• Proven forklift operation in a fast-paced setting.
• Hands-on inventory control with computerized systems.
• Experience with material handling in manufacturing.
• Ability to perform cycle counts and maintain accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Commitment to safety protocols and PPE.
• Availability for 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down or stand-up forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
• Transport and store materials to support production and packaging.
• Assist with shipments including staging, loading, and outbound organization.
• Use computerized inventory system to record inventory levels.
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support inventory control to ensure proper labeling, storage, and tracking.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and inventory teams for smooth workflow.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by Team Lead.
