Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Corsicana, TX is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift to keep production moving. You will safely operate forklifts and straddle lifts, load and unload freight, and ensure accurate inventory flow on the factory floor.

You will log item numbers, use the JDE system to track moves, support safety programs, and assist with counts and reconciliation. Dependability, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential as you help mentors new teammates and maintain a hazardous

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and straddle lifts.
• Read and interpret instructions and measurements.
• Comfortable using computer systems to track inventory (JDE).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight while ensuring accurate check-in.
• Log item numbers for unidentified materials to keep inventory on point.
• Use JDE to track inventory moves.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Count, sort, and organize parts on the floor.
• Support the flow by loading/unloading trucks to keep production moving.
• Follow written orders and hazardous materials warnings.
• Assist in physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Train and mentor new team members on the floor.
• Handle hazardous waste per regulations and procedures.
• Support safety training and a safety-first culture.
• Lift up to 35 lbs; perform occasional standing and walking.
