Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Morgantown, PA is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift to move materials, stock lines, and support production. You will operate forklifts and straddle lifts, follow safety protocols, and help train new team members on the floor.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, documenting inventory, and using JDE to track moves. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Forklift experience required.
• Comfortable using computers and essential tools to keep production running.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight; ensure items check in accurately.
• Log item numbers for unidentified materials to keep inventory on point.
• Use JDE to track inventory moves and keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse environment.
• Count, sort, and organize parts so everything is where it needs to be.
• Support the flow by loading/unloading trucks as needed to keep production moving.
• Read and follow work orders, specs, and labels, including hazardous material warnings.
• Assist in physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Mentor new team members on the floor.
• Handle hazardous waste following regulations and company procedures.
• Follow safety policies and support training for new team members.
• Lift up to 35 lbs and alternate between sitting and standing.
