Job summary

Sam's Club in Pearl, MS is seeking a forklift-certified associate to support daily warehouse operations, stock merchandise, and ensure safe, efficient handling of pallets and materials.

You will assist customers, fulfill club pickup orders, maintain inventory accuracy, stage products for display, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with teammates to deliver fast, friendly service while upholding Walmart standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 90 days of prior forklift experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans.
• Operates forklift following company standards and guidelines to pick up, move, place and position merchandise pallets.
• Completes work by using policies, data, resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and partners; identifying priorities and deadlines.
• Receives stocks and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers by managing inventory flow and following policy.
• Provides member service by acknowledging the member, guiding and supporting members with self-service technology and purchasing decisions.
• Maintains safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps and following forklift procedures and hazardous materials handling guidelines.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to policy; stocks, rotates, sets up displays and monitors shrink and safety.
• Ensures club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging, and auditing for accuracy.
• Inventory handling and shrink control; uses inventory tools safely.
• Forklift operation; reports unsafe conditions; maintains equipment.
• Technology: helps customers with technology services and products; identifies shrink opportunities and resolves issues.
