Job summary

Sam's Club in Columbia, MO is hiring a forklift-certified associate to safely pick up, move, and position merchandise while delivering excellent member service throughout the shift. You will help stock, stage, and rotate merchandise and support club operations on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include inventory handling, operating pallet jacks and forklifts per policy, maintaining safety standards, assisting members with purchases and self-service technology, and upholding company procedures

Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift following company standards and guidelines.
• Receives stocks and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and assisting with purchases.
• Maintains safety of facility by performing safety checks and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandise presentation according to policy.
• Assists with club pick up orders and staging.
• Handles inventory to track in-stock levels and reduce shrinkage.
