Job summary

RRD is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator in Austell, GA to move finished products, stock materials, and stage items for shipment. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and support the manufacturing team with daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires operating forklift equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and performing routine inspections. Training on site and opportunities for growth are available in this manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Know forklift load dimensions and weight limits.
• Ability to gauge doorway/aisle clearance for forklift movement.
• Familiarity with warehouse storage layouts.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.
• Stages product to be moved or shipped.
• Racks unused supplies and maintains inventory of items.
• Transports and processes manufacturing paper by-products.
• Performs routine daily inspections on hoist and reports maintenance needs.
• Battery service duties: inspecting, recharging and replacing batteries.
• May include changing LP/Propane.
• Adheres to safety policies including hazardous waste handling and lock out-tag out rules.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects.
