Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques.
• Prefers 6 months to 1 year forklift experience and ability to complete licensing process.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks and rail cars
• Moves material from storage to work areas and vice versa
• Breaks packs to correct size and labels material before loading
• Provides general preventive maintenance on equipment
• Completes preshift startup equipment checklist and reports problems
• Maintains yard and keeps it organized and clean
• Completes paperwork as required
• Follows forklift rules and policies
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
• Performs other duties as required
