Job summary

RRD seeks a warehouse operator in Greensboro, NC to move finished products, supply materials, and stage shipments. You'll maintain inventory, operate forklifts, and support daily warehouse tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role includes training teammates, performing equipment inspections, and helping ensure accurate material handling. Strong attention to safety and procedural adherence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to judge doorway and aisle dimensions for safe passage.
• Familiarity with warehouse layout to locate items efficiently.
• Proficient in driving forklifts through narrow aisles and ramps.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.
• Stages product to be moved or shipped.
• Racks unused supplies and maintains inventory of items.
• Transports and processes manufacturing by-products.
• Performs routine daily inspections on hoist and reports maintenance needs.
• May include battery service duties such as inspecting, recharging and replacing batteries of electrical leads.
• May include changing LP/Propane
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects.
• Training and mentoring new and existing employees to improve productivity.
