Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Forklift/Hi-Lo Operator to safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, move materials, load/unload trucks, and support production flow across warehouse and production areas.

Requirements include sit-down and stand-up forklift experience, experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment, safety mindset, ability to stand 8+ hours, overtime/weekends as needed, reliable teamwork, punctuality, and ability to communicate issues effectively.

Qualifications

• Mandatory sit-down forklift experience.
• Stand-up forklift experience.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or material-handling environment.
• Commitment to safe work practices and a strong safety mindset.
• Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per day.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, initiative, and reliability.
• Ability to be on time, lead by example, and maintain constructive working relationships.
• Successful completion of required post-offer pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing.
• Unload incoming trucks, put inventory away, and rack and stack product up to 16 feet high.
• Load trucks with empty dunnage and maintain an organized, productive work area.
• Identify and communicate equipment, material, or operational issues to the appropriate team member.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, stage, rack, and deliver materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload trucks to support efficient production flow.
• Unload incoming trucks, put inventory away, and rack and stack product up to 16 feet high.
• Identify and communicate equipment, material, or operational issues to the appropriate team member.
