Customized Distribution Services in Richmond Hill, GA is hiring a Forklift Maintenance Technician to execute maintenance on MHE equipment, troubleshoot and repair forklifts, manage batteries and chargers, and keep the facility clean and compliant with safety standards. The role includes sourcing quotes, entering work orders, and maintaining parts inventory.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, forklift certification (prefer Crown), ability to read

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; manufacturing, automotive, military or recent trade school graduate.
• License/Certification: Valid state driver's license and Valid Class B license.
• Forklift repair experience and certification, preferably Crown.
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Experience in building maintenance, ie. dock levelers and doors.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and their applications.
• Ability to operate warehouse cleaning equipment, ie. floor scrubbers.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to work independenty.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance on MHE equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown forklifts to Crown standards
• Maintain the MHE fleet, including batteries and chargers
• Maintain and organized and clean work environment
• Source quotes from vendors and project management
• Enter all work orders in Fleetstats system
• Maintain parts consignment
• General maintenance of interior and exterior grounds
• Maintain BRC compliance
• Follow all CDS safety policies
