Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking an MHE Technician / Mechanic in McDonough, GA to service LP and electric forklifts. You will perform preventive maintenance, tune-ups, fluid and filter changes, battery work, and part replacements while ensuring safety and quality.

Strong customer service and basic computer skills are required. The role involves reading service manuals, collaborating with lead techs, and maintaining a high PM completion rate in varying outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years troubleshooting electric or LP forklift equipment.
• Ability to read and follow service manuals.
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
• Must lift/pull 75 lbs or more and work outdoors.
• Basic electrical, LP, hydraulic system knowledge; DVOM experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on LP and electric forklifts.
• Conduct fluid changes and filter replacements.
• Perform tune-ups, brake/riser adjustments, bearing inspections.
• Inspect and water forklift batteries; maintenance on batteries.
• Perform paint touch-ups and replacement of parts as needed.
• Maintain PM completion target (min 30 per month) and productivity (80-90%).
