Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a maintenance technician to perform troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment and facility systems at our Springfield, MA location. Under supervision, you will service forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubbers, and refrigeration systems to minimize downtime.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of maintenance experience in a large warehouse, and a preferred associate degree or technical certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of maintenance and general repairs in a large warehouse, fleet shop, or office facilities.
• Associates/2-year technical education is preferred.
• Material Handling Equipment certification is preferred.
• Foodservice distribution warehousing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily work orders for maintenance and repair of material handling equipment.
• Order parts needed for maintenance and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance per equipment standards and schedules.
• Maintain ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure proper temperature and operation.
• Keep maintenance records; manage expenses and maintain a tidy shop.
• Follow all safety standards and policies.
• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8:00pm–4:30am.
