Job summary

TPI Staffing, Inc. is hiring Forklift Operators on a temp-to-hire basis for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.). Pay starts at $18.00/hr with a $1.00/hr shift differential, totaling $19.00/hr.

Candidates must have 3–5 years of recent forklift experience and be comfortable working at heights with lifts. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, storing, and shipping products using pallet jacks and RF scanners.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of recent forklift experience.
• One year in a warehouse environment is required.
• Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and be 18 years or older.
• Excellent communication, math, and reading skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, order picker, and pallet rider to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products.
• Use RF equipment for pricing, receiving, and put-away as required.
• Maintain accurate storing, picking, packing, and receiving of products.
• Inspect lift equipment daily and keep work area clean and orderly.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

Forklift OperatorsTemp to Hire2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. | Pay: $18.00/hr. + $1.00/hr. Shift Diff. = $19.00/hr.** MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS OF RECENT FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE***SummaryUse forklift, order picker and a pallet rider, to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials**Order Picker or Cherry Picker PIT Operator- MUST be comfortable working at high elevations as the lift does extend upwards**Essential Functions and Responsibilities• Using a forklift, order picker and a pallet rider, to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials• Work with radio frequency equipment for pricing, receiving, and put-away as required• Responsible for the accurate storing, picking, packing, and receiving of product• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion• On a daily basis, perform inspections on the lift equipment• Operate all lift equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following prescribed work methods• Understand and follow all policies and procedures set by the company• Strive to meet daily, weekly and monthly goals• Maintain a clean work environment•Strong sense of urgency with the ability to meet or exceed picking quotas• Other job duties when applicableQualifications• One year in a warehouse environment• Familiar with warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures is required• Meeting safety, security, accuracy, and productivity standards of the facility• Must be authorized to work in the United States• Must be eighteen years of age or older• Excellent communication skills• Good math, reading and communication skills• Ability to operate a pallet jack, pallet rider, order picker and a sit sown• Reach truck and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds infrequently• Requires squatting, kneeling, bending and some overhead lifting.• Able to be flexible with a team attitude
