Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Forklift Driver/Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material handling operations in a logistics-focused engineering services environment.

This role is ideal for a certified forklift operator with strong inventory control experience who enjoys staying organized, working independently, and keeping warehouse operations moving efficiently. The position offers competitive hourly pay, long-term potential, and the chance to contribute to a team that values safety, accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Candidates should be comfortable commuting to Kent initially, with the role expected to transition to Tacoma in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, material handling, and warehouse organization.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, receive, store, and prepare materials and orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, documentation, cycle counts, and tracking within inventory systems or related software.
• Prioritize daily logistics tasks independently while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
• Support efficient warehouse workflow by identifying organization, storage, and process improvement opportunities.
• Follow established warehouse procedures, safety policies, and company guidelines at all times.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour.
• Job type: Temp-to-hire.
