Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure is seeking a Day shift Forklift Driver to operate forklifts outdoors, load trucks, and move products through the shop and yard. You will become a product expert, knowing weights, loads, and inventory locations while adhering to safety policies.

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you will collaborate with yard, production, and office teams, interacting with truck drivers and vendors. Expect inspections, organization, and adherence to safety guidelines as a daily routine.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts of varying sizes.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies.
• Ability to read and follow loading/inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The Forklift Driver is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. Working outdoors, our forklift driver moves products in and out of the shop and safely loads delivery trucks. You quickly become the product expert – knowing what things are, how they’re loaded and where they go in inventory.

Reporting to our Yard Supervisor, you’ll collaborate with the yard, production, and office teams, and interact with truck drivers and vendors.

A highlight of your day to day will include:

• Choosing and utilizing the proper forklift, based on weight, to load, unload, transport, and stack material in appropriate areas.

• Operating forklift in production areas in a safe manner, always abiding by the speed limits and safety policies.

• Moving finished products and supplies from departments to yard or to trucks for loading.

• Completing daily forklift inspections and keeping work areas organized and clean.
